Norman Cheestring Passes Away

Its' not all fun and irrelevant topics on WOP, sad news has reached us that Norman Cheestring, grandfather of Neville, has passed away. He was 83.

Neville said 'He was a great man, he died in the two wars and still worked down the pits to bring home the bacon'.

He also went on to say 'With this passing away, it made me realise that I ought to do more with my life, and the time I have. So I'm going to join an internet dating agency right away and find myself a woman of sorts'.

Out of this, the boffins at WOP have decided there's a gap in the market as there simply aren't enough internet dating sites out there, so we shall start WOP Dating! Stay tuned....

Oh yeah, Norman will be buried on Tuesday.

Nevilla Cheestring - Sister Of Norman!

Well, it seems that the family tree of our Norman Cheestring goes a little further back than we first thought. Here is an album cover of 'Top Of The Pops 1976' with Nevilla, the sister of Norman. As you'll see, she was quite a stunner and the family resembalance is startling.

She was never again seen on records covers, Nevilla lead a very quiet life after that, working in a biscuit farm near Thatch.

She recently said 'I was proud to have done my bit of stardom, but my true life in biscuit-wifery was always calling. I don't miss the late nights and the wild parties, because I was never invited to them'.

Introducing Norman Cheestring!

While we are waiting for the gremlins to be addressed regarding the videos on here - I thought you'd like to meet Norman Cheestring, the Grandfather of our Neville....

His interests are pretty much the same as Nevilles'; trains, fluff and indexing random road signs he comes across on his weekly walk to the post office for his pension...

Norman is also an avid member of National Appreciation Of Bus Seat Designs. Incidentally, he is working on a book, with a huge collection of images and information relating to the classification and identification of regional bus seats.

'It's taken me 11 years to do this, and I'm almost there.' said Norman. 'It's not just a serious reference to all things about bus seats - but there is a surprising amount of fun and humour there too'.

He plans to follow this with a broader look at national bus seats and even signage.

He would like to draw our attention to this beauty he snapped on a brief journey to the clinic last week. 'This a fairly new design, based on the classic PLX454 series used in Yorkshire - and everyone knows of that one'.
