Doing It The Neville Way!

Either the housing developers are running out of ideas for names of new roads, or they've been inspired by out antics here at WOP, but on a recent cycle trip - I spotted this beauty.....

...Lovely signwriting skills on her.....

Is there no end to the runaway train that is Nev's new-found fame?!

Who'd have thought that he would end up lending his name to such things as social housing schemes!

Extraordinary really isn't it? Nev of course, is highly honoured to have his good name used for such a good cause. Mind you, they haven't built the houses yet. Would you live in a house on Neville Way? Well, would you?? Oh you would...okay.

I heard that the song 'Lambeth Walk' was actually stolen from the song about Neville Way!

---

Neville Way you've never seen,
The turrets ain't tall, the grass ain't green.
It hasn't got the Historic touch,
But that don't matter very much.
We play the Neville way,
Just like Nev but a bit more gay
And when he has a bit of fun
Oh, Boy....

Anytime you're down Neville Way
Any evening, any day,
You'll find Nev there, trainspotting like he don't care HEY!

Even that little Flossie gal
With her nerdish, big-toothed pal,
Down Neville Way together, whatever the English weather HEY!

It has its own train station,
The prettiest in the nation,
Why don't you make your way there,
Go there, stay there,

Once you get down Neville way,
The chintzy decor will make you stay,
Let's all spend the day, exploring Neville Way HEY!

Wow! Well done :) It totally works too...lol
I know, I've just sang it to myself. Oh and Nev, he's here and he approves! He'd like you to do a nerdy version of 'My Fair Anorak'.
:)

Perhaps there is call for a Bill and Ted style - Neville 'no way' grafitti underneath?

Every rose has its thorn...
