He lives in the basement. Behind the collection of old clothes and magazines that time forgot.
A tattered and torn piece of rolled-up, disintegrating carpet passes for a pillow; only the movement of the mice running over his weary old bones gives him any sense of warmth.
Welcome to Humphrey's world.
At night, you can hear him cry himself to sleep, his agonising, torturous wails resounding throughout the neighbourhood sewer system, as he laments his sad and lonely existance.
He longs for companionship, listening out for the only sounds with which he can identify.
No friends. No lovers. No deodorant.
But all this pales into insignificance when you witness his terrible affliction.
Watch if you dare...
Happy Halloween, Pooters!

Listening to Humphrey strangely reminds me of a trip I made a few years ago when I too was plagued by this horrible affliction. I am now in remission and send my best wishes to Humphrey for a speedy recovery also. May I suggest that a wine bottle cork is a wonderful aid during the long spell of recuperation.
Crikey - from a (safe) distance, that almost sounds like an admission there!
And to think that your story has always been "Twas not me, I tell ya! Whoopie cushions were planted unter my seat!"
As if! Hmm...
Besides, who would do such a shocking (albeit hilarious) thing to you?! Er... I have n comment to make at this juncture ;-)
'n' comment being the equivalent to 'no comment', you understand.
This is after all, a site devoted to all things poot.... bravo Babbington!

Well yes - apologies for that... what were we thinking?! Lol. Actually, truth be told, all of the dogs got spooked and ran off, what with this being a Halloween-time post.
Still, you might be interested to see the latest recommendation from our resident bookworm, Barry Bitumen. Hopefully this will redress the balance ;-)
It stings the eyes and burns the throat
Ah, so you've clearly met Humphrey then, Salty?
'It stings the eyes and burns the throat'.
This was one of our lesser popular slogans for our Xmas WOP Beer.....
